FREDONIA, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State women's volleyball team wrapped up SUNYAC regular-season play with a 3-1 win vs. Oneonta on Saturday. The victory gives the Devils the No. 4 seed in the Tournament, which comes with a first-round home contest.
The Devils won the sets by scores of 25-21, 29-31, 25-17, and 25-20.
Emma Foley led the Devils with 12 kills, and
Kylie O'Brien had 11 kills, two aces, and a block. Setters
Olivia Boswell and
Molly Cassidy had 24 and 21 assists, respectively.
Bria Hunter led the defense with four blocks and
Kailea Sullivan has 18 digs. They improve to 10-13 overall, and finish with a conference mark of 6-3. Oneonta is now 15-12 and 4-5 in the SUNYAC, finishing just outside the post season.
Prior to the post season, the Devils have a home match vs. Hilbert on Wednesday, then a home tri-match next weekend. Tournament play begins on Nov. 11. when they play host to Buffalo State.
