FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Senior
Martin Garza put his talents on display in Dods Hall one last time and went off for 31 points, which included a perfect 10-10 from the free-throw line and 5-7 from three-point range. He currently leads the SUNYAC with 59 long range buckets.
Unfortunately, it would not be enough to overcome the SUNYAC No. 1 seed Cortland Red Dragons as the Devils fell 89-66 on Tuesday.
Stevie Williams added nine points for the Devils. Cortland was paced by Isiah Austin with 25 points and Aaron Coston with 19 points and 11 rebounds. They improve to 20-4 and 16-1 in the SUNYAC.
Cortland jumped out to a 12-0 lead and would be up 48-28 by halftime.
The Devils (3-20 / 3-13 SUNYAC) wrap up the regular season with road contests at Oswego and Canton this weekend.
