FREDONIA, N.Y. — The Fredonia State women's volleyball team has been recognized by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) with a Team Academic Award for the 2025–26 academic year. The Blue Devils posted a 3.30 team GPA on a 4.0 scale, marking the program's 10th overall AVCA academic honor and its first since 2022.

Eight student-athletes achieved GPAs of 3.62 or higher, including one perfect 4.0, underscoring the team's commitment to excellence both on the court and in the classroom.

The Blue Devils previously earned the AVCA Team Academic Award in 2011, 2012, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022, maintaining a proud tradition of academic success within the program.

The AVCA Team Academic Award, established in 1992–93, recognizes collegiate and high school volleyball programs that maintain a cumulative team GPA of 3.30 or higher during the academic year.
