FREDONIA, N.Y. —
Rylyn Tunstall and
Taylyn Stanton each earned singles victories for Fredonia State in a 5-2 setback to Baldwin Wallace on Saturday at the Steele Hall Courts.
Tunstall rallied for a hard-fought win at fourth singles, defeating Kate Slutz in three sets. After dropping the opening set 6-4, Tunstall responded with a dominant 6-0 second set before clinching the match with a 10-6 victory in the tiebreaker.
Stanton added a straight-set victory at sixth singles, topping Makayla Rader by scores of 6-3 and 6-4.
