FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Recreational swimming returns to Steele Hall next Tuesday, Sept. 8, as the Natatorium opens for the fall semester. Open Swim will be offered Mondays through Thursdays from 9–10 a.m., 11 a.m.–3 p.m., and 8–9 p.m., and Fridays from 9–10 a.m. and 11 a.m.–3 p.m. for current students and members.
Saturday sessions will run from 12–2 p.m. and are open to students, members, and community patrons, with a $3 daily fee for non‑members . Membership is optional, and there is no cost for those already enrolled.
Patrons must present a photo ID and sign in with the lifeguard staff, and the facility will open ten minutes before each session to allow time to change. The natatorium will be closed Nov. 25–29 for Thanksgiving Break, and there will be no Open Swim on days when Fredonia State Swimming & Diving hosts a home meet..
The final Open Swim date of the semester is Saturday, Dec. 19.
