Hannah Esslie

Appointed in July 2026, Hannah Esslie serves as the Coordinator of Athletic Events, Facilities, and Recreation. Her duties include oversight of staffing, logistics, budgeting, and student staff at Fredonia State athletic contests. She also manages intramural programming; serves as a liaison to student life club sports, including e-sports; and has oversight on scheduling athletic facilities and spaces to internal and external groups.

Her work experience includes Director of Operations for the United Soccer League Women's Hudson Valley Crusaders, a women's pre-professional/semi-professional club, which she founded in 2021 while still in high school. She served as a graduate assistant for athletic facilities at Canisius University, and spent part of one season as assistant women's soccer coach at Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, N.Y.

A 2024 graduate of SUNY Buffalo State, Esslie was a three-year player and women's soccer team captain for the Bengals while earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology with minors in Exercise Science and Coaching. She is enrolled at Canisius University in a Master of Business program, with an Accounting concentration. Her expected graduation date is May 2027.
