FREDONIA, N.Y. -- The Fredonia State women's basketball season tips off in Dods Hall on Friday, Nov. 7th when the Blue Devils take on Thiel College in a 6 p.m. start. The team's second game will be a non-conference tilt at home vs. Hilbert College on Wed., Nov. 12 as part of a women's/men's doubleheader.

Head coach Sherri Nowatzki enters her second season, but brings her first recruiting class. She will look to improve upon the Devils' 9-15 overall record, and 6-12 mark in SUNYAC play.

The incoming class features one transfer -- 5'11'' junior Jakiera Stackhouse -- and six freshmen. Stackhouse attended Morrisville last year and average 4.9 ppg and 2.5 rebounds.
