FREDONIA, N.Y. --
Sam Chrenka scored the lone goal for the Blue Devils as the Fredonia State hockey team dropped a 6-1 game to visiting Brockport on Tuesday.
Jameson Kaine got the start in goal and was credited with 38 saves.
Schuyler Flansburg scored a power play at 7:12 of the first to open the scoring for Brockport. Just 1:07 later, Chrenka would tie things up at 1-1. Then, 25 seconds later, Flansburg struck again to put Brockport up 2-1, which would be the score at the end of one period of play.
Brockport would score three times in the second period, two goals coming from Brody Seitz, and two on power plays.
Andrew Haugh would score the lone goal of the third period for Brockport to produce the 6-1 final.
David Filak had 27 saves for the Golden Eagles, now 8-10.
The Blue Devils (3-13-1) head to Buffalo State on Friday for a 7 p.m. game.
